Microsoft Fixes Major Reboot Bug In Vista SP1

Washington (dbTechno) – Microsoft has stated that they have fixed a major bug in Windows Vista Service Pack 1. The Vista SP1 bug caused computers to go into a never-ending reboot cycle.

Windows Vista users have been complaining about the glitch in the software since it was released. It would happen every time they tried to install Vista SP1.

Microsoft stated that the issue is now completely fixed.

The bug was blamed on Servicing Stack Update KB937287. It apparently caused the reboot cycle to begin.

Microsoft updated the Windows Update Product Team blog on Monday, stating that the problem has been fixed, and started from a series of unknown and rare events.

Microsoft is now releasing a fix that will install before this update, to help with the installation.

It will install seamlessly through Windows update.

Microsoft has confirmed they are on-track to distribute Vista SP1 through their Automatic Update system in the middle of this month.
