Boston (dbTechno) – On June 9, Steve Jobes will kick off the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The expectation is that Jobs will reveal the new 3G iPhone at the event, something which has been anticipated for months.
There is no telling as of yet exactly what Steve Jobs has planned at the WWDC keynote set for June 9th, but one thing is clear, plenty of people are watching.
It has been rumored that Jobs would reveal the highly-anticipated 3G iPhone several times over the past months, but it has yet to show up.
More clues about it coming are beginning to appear though, such as the fact that Apple has sold out of the 8GB and 16GB models of the iPhone on their online store.
It is also believed that Apple wants to get the new iPhone released for the big launch of the Apple iPhone 2.0 firmware update, which will bring all of the great tools and games created with the iPhone SDK to the device.
Apple needs something big to continue to push iPhone sales as they try to meet their sales goal for the year, and at this point, the announcement of the 3G iPhone at WWDC almost seems necessary.
