Special Gears of War Set To Hit Xbox 360 In June

Boston (dbTechno) – GameStop has listed a new special version of Gears of War on the Xbox 360 with a release date of June 24, 2008.

The new game is called Gears of War with Maps and is priced at $39.99.

The main belief is that this release will consist of Gears of War as well as all of the downloadable maps released to date over the Xbox Live Marketplace on the Xbox 360.

It is also possible that this version will include some of the additions made to the PC version of Gears of War.

There has yet to be any confirmation of this from Microsoft, but it is expected that this version will replace the current Gears of War on retail shelves.
