Mozilla is planning a big launch for its Firefox 3 Web browser next Tuesday as they will try to set a new Guinness Book record...New York (dbTechno) – Mozilla is planning a big launch for its Firefox 3 Web browser next Tuesday as they will try to set a new Guinness Book record.

Mozilla announced on Wednesday that Firefox 3 would release next Tuesday, June 17.

They also announced that they are going to try to set a new Guinness Book record for the most downloads in a single day.

Overall, one million Firefox fans have stated that they will download Firefox 3 on day one.

Mozilla has deemed the day “Download Day” and will celebrate with a BBQ and a Nintendo Wii tournament at its headquarters in Mountain View, California.
