Washington (dbTechno) – AT&T has announced that they are planning a huge launch for the Apple 3G iPhone. Among the plans for the launch include early openings of their retail stores.
According to a statement released by the company, AT&T is going to be opening all retail stored at 8 a.m. local time next Friday for the launch of the 3G iPhone.
The early opening, according to AT&T, is being done so that the company has the ability to handle all of the major crowds at all retail locations.
The hope is that they will be able to keep a steady flow of consumers throughout the day.
When the original Apple iPhone launched, AT&T opened stores at 6 a.m. local time.
AT&T wireless president and CEO Ralph de la Vega stated “we want to make sure the buying process is as easy as possible.”
