Washington (dbTechno) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama spoke over the weekend a great deal about his space plans, and his big support of NASA.
The Orlando Sentinel reported on Sunday that the Illinois senator, Barack Obama, has revealed a great deal about his support of NASA.
The Democratic presidential candidate has called for the U.S. to lead the way in terms of space exploration, and wants to put astronauts on the moon yet again.
On top of that, he also wants to pursue the eventual goal of putting astronauts on Mars.
Barack Obama has come out and stated that by 2020, he wants another U.S. trip to the moon, and has also promised full support, with a great deal of funding for NASA.
The added funding is going to be for more space flights, after the retirement of the space shuttle in 2010.
For those concerned about NASA following the upcoming election, it appears that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is set to offer his full support.
He still needs to announce his support for aggressively building new nuclear power plants before I’d even consider supporting him.
