Apple May Not Be To Blame For iPhone 3G Signal Issues

Users have been sending in complaints to Apple, blaming them for issues with the iPhone 3G signals, dropped calls, etc. The problem may not be with Apple after all though.

A new study carried out by Wired conducted a global survey of iPhone users, and how they are doing with their 3G speeds.

What they found was that the United States had the most cases where their network speeds came in at 9, meaning they were not able to connect to a 3G network.

It is common knowledge that the places where 3G networks are most present is in big metropolitan areas.

This means though that the problems with the iPhone 3G may not be all on Apple’s shoulders, as it may be on the carrier’s shoulders as well.

Early adopters of the iPhone 3G have been complaining to Apple about speed issues, but the bigger problem may be the networks themselves.

The study found that in Europe, T-Mobile had the fastest 3G network.

The slowest speed was found to be in Australia, while the U.S., as stated, had the most no 3G connection responses.
