Cannon Unveils The EOS 50D, First DIGIC 4 Camera

Cannon made it official as they have announced the EOS 50D camera, which features a 15.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, as well as many other big features......Washington (dbTechno) – Cannon made it official as they have announced the EOS 50D camera, which features a 15.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, as well as many other big features.

Cannon has been rumored for quite some time to be working on this camera, and they have finally made it official this past week.

The new camera, as stated, will feature a 15.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, but on top of that will also feature a nice 3″ CLD screen.

Other features which will be included consist of ISO running up to 12800, as well as Live VIew.

Live View is going to allow users to preview images on the 3″ LCD screen. The other big new addition of the new image processing chip from Cannon, the DIGIC 4.

The 50D is going to the first cannon Camera to use this new chip, and reports state that it is going to be a major upgrade.

An improved autofocus and an HDMI output are also included. The price tag is set at around $1400.

  • Great camera , I love Canon digital camera very much, I bought mine at Tradestead several years ago , it woks pretty good , but now it is a little older . so I just want to have another canon camera , this one looks very nice , may be I will buy it!
