Boston (dbTechno) – According to a new report released by the Pew Internet Project, 99% of teenage boys in the U.S. play video games.
VIdeo games are truly a part of our culture in the United States, and that is more evident than ever when you look at this new study.
The study was done in the form of a survey which was carried out by talking with 1,102 teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17.
What the Pew research found was that 99% of boys between the ages of 12 and 17 play video games.
On top of that, 94% of girls between the same ages also play video games.
Overall, it came out to 97% of the entire population of 12 to 17-year olds playing video games in some form.
The most popular video game genre out of all of them was racing, with puzzle games, action, and adventure following.
Big franchises which were enjoyed include DDR, Madden NFL, Guitar Hero, and others.
