Salesforce.com Making Its Move Into Cloud Computing

Washington (dbTechno) – Salesforce.com is making the move into the cloud computing market, which is uncharted territory for the company.

Salesforce.com Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff has announced that the company is going to be heading into the cloud computing market.

The company is set to announce a new Web site hosting business at their annual user conference in San Francisco, California.

Benioff, the founder of the company, will make his keynote speech and hopes to revitalize the company in a big way.

Salesforce.com sells software to help companies keep up with customers, manage their information, etc.

They are expected to do around $1 billion in revenue for the first time this year, very impressive.

As of late though, the company has seen their stocks dip quit ea bit, and is looking for a new way to help things along.

Will cloud computing be the answer?  We will definitely know more after the kenote.
