The plan as of right now is to merge both NASA and the Pentagon to help supply more funding to NASA.

According to reports, the Pentagon spent more than NASA did one year ago on their military space program.

The belief is that by bringing these two entities together, it could help us get back to the moon by the year 2020, which was the original goal.

The military space program of the Pentagon, as well as the NASA program in general are both very expensive.

By making them one in the same though it could help cut costs on both ends, and would also lead to more advancements since they could share information and unite scientists from both programs.

It appears that the Pentagon is in favor of merging with NASA and becoming one-in-the-same.

This is key as support from both fronts could make this a very easy transition, and could get us back on the moon soon.
