Sony Shows Off Their Big Guns In 2009 For The PSP

Boston (dbTechno) – Those fans of Sony’s Playstation Portable will be happy to know that Sony have unveiled their 2009 game lineup.

They did so in style, unveiling games to be released this year at the SCEA’s annual Destination Playstation retail and publisher event in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Many prefer the PSP to the actual Playstation, due to its size as it can be taken anywhere and played anywhere.

Sony are even trying to appeal to female gamers, introducing a lilac-colored model this year.

What are some of the big games to look for this year? How about LittleBigPlanet, Assassin’s Creed  and Rock Band PSP editions.

Sony says that more than 50 million people are gaming with PSPs and more are turning to the smaller gaming option due to its convenient size.

Despite the success of the PSP the Nintendo DS leads the way in hand held gaming, as more than 90 million users prefer the DS over the PSP.
