Bing Adds Twitter to its Search Results

The war for search engine popularity is heating up and Bing is making a bold statement against Google
Boston (DbTechNo) – The war for search engine popularity is heating up and Bing is making a bold statement against Google.

The search engine is doing whatever it can to differintiate itself from Google by adding features that are not found when visiting Google.

Bing is probably one of the more bright spots for Microsoft, as an initial test drive suggests that in some areas of search, it can actually compete with Google.

Bing is taking search to a whole new level, by adding Twitter results to its archives.

They announced on their Bing blog, their intent to start showing tweets from prominant tweeters in their search results.

Up to 1000 Twitter members will be crawled by Bing, chosen based on the number of followers they have, amongst other things.
