Toyota Prius Outsells All Cars in Japan

Boston (DbTechNo) – When it comes to car sales in the country of Japan, look no further than Toyota’s Prius.

The little car has managed to outsell all other cars in Japan, the first time in history that a hybrid has achieved this mark.

In May more than 22000 models were sold more than triple the number of a year ago.

The cars run on a combo of gas and electricity and are very fuel efficient.

The government in Japan has made hybrid cars tax free, a fact that has boosted their sales tremendously.

Coming in second in June when it comes to car sales was Honda’s Fit, selling 13,016 models in June.
