About 60,000 of the sets are being recalled because of potential problems with the airpressure pump that comes with the device.

The infusion set is a little device used to deliver insulin from the pump to a diabetes patient.

If the pump is not working properly this means that the patient is unlikely to receive required insulin then they are supposed too.

The sets being recalled have the reference numbers MMT-396, MMT-397, MMT-398 and MMT-399 with lot numbers starting with the number “8.”
