Boston (DbTechNo) – It appears that there maybe a security glitch in the iPhone relating to text messages that are sent from the devices.
Apple are aware of the new problem and have stated that they are in the process of fixing the bug.
The bug allows for unauthorized access to the inner content stored on iPhones, including address books and other personal information.
Apple are working on a security patch which they will be releasing as soon as it is deemed ready.
“We will be communicating to customers both through the website and proactively,” said a spokesman for Apple.
“We always recommend our customers update their iPhone with the latest software and this is no different.”
A source indicates that Apple will have the patch on the iTunes store for installation by tomorrow.
