Dell Unvail Laptop with Wireless Charging Option

If Dell hoped to increase laptop sales by developing a wireless charger, they may want to think again as early reviews are not promising
Boston (DbTechNo) – If Dell hoped to increase laptop sales by developing a wireless charger, they may want to think again as early reviews are not promising.

For an additional $200 cost on top of the already expensive Latitude Z you can purchase a wireless charger, which does offer the benefit of not having to remember to step over a cord every now and again.

According to Dell they are the first computer company to offer a laptop with wireless docking and an inductive wireless charger.

The computer comes equipped with a pair of coils and a third in a charging stand which when placed near each other generate an electromagnetic field.

Sources indicate that this new state of the art charger is no more effective than a regular plug-in charger, meaning that really there is minimal reason for consumers to bother buying one.

The laptop is not cheap, costing consumers $2000, not including the additional $200 if they want the wireless charger.
