
Boston (DbTechNo) – For the cost of a cool 35 million dollars, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté has travelled into space to spend time on the International Space Station.
He made the 2 day trip to the ISS from earth blasting off in a Russian Soyuz craft along with Russian cosmonaut Maxim Surayev and U.S. astronaut Jeffrey Williams.
The craft docked alongside the ISS this morning at which time Laliberté borded the ISS and dawned his big red nose.
He is the 7th paying tourist to hitch a ride into space, and from his first video message he is loving space: “I’m adapting pretty good. I love that thing,” he said.
Laliberte, 50, is estimated to be worth more than 2.5 billion dollars.
He will return to earth on October 11, along with 2 other astronauts.
