Boston (DbTechNo) – Residents from China now have the luxury of purchasing the most popular smartphone in the world, Apple’s iPhone.
Consumers in China can purchase the iPhone for approximately $1000, a hefty price for sure, when one can buy it cheaper in Hong Kong.
Another downer with the iPhone is that Apple removed Wi-Fi capability to comply with the Chinese government regulations.
China Unicom are selling the 32GB 3GS model of the popular phone, with no contract.
It is rumored also that China Mobile, is in negotiations with Apple to carry the iPhone.
“Ever since we first launched the iPhone, we greatly anticipated bringing it to China,” said Greg Joswiak , Apple’s vice president of iPod and iPhone marketing,
in a speech at the launch. “We plan on actively marketing the iPhone here,” he add.
HOW MUCH IS THIS NOW?
