Apple iPhone App Store Makes History With Numbers

Washington (dbTechno) – Apple has made history with their popular App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch today.

Apple has come out and announced that there are now more than 100,000 Apps that are available for users to download over the App Store.

Apple has showcased this impressive number, and it is one that they will surely tout for the weeks to come.

That is a lot of Apps to say the least, and there are plenty more to come.

The big question that many have about this though, is that is 100,000 Apps really a good thing?

The likely case is that probably 30 to 40-thousand of them are pretty useless, and are not of high-quality.

That is pure speculation, but when you think about it, the majority of Apps are unused.

An analysis by AppsFire has found that only 1.76% of users have ever even tried the 1000th most popular app.
