Should New York Have Sued Intel For Being Bullies?

Washington (dbTechno) – New York has come out and filed an antitrust lawsuit against Intel, for apparently being nothing but big bullies.

New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is under the belief that Intel forced computer manufacturers to use their chips over rivals by using tactics that violated antitrust laws.

The belief is that Intel either forced these companies to use them, or gave them kickbacks for choosing Intel chips.

This puts competitors such as AMD in an unfair position as they would be unable to compete in an equal market.

New York Attorney General Cuomo claims that Intel got companies to use their chips after they gave out billions of dollars that they hid as rebated.

This is basically bribery in exchange for the companies using their chips.

Intel is expected to go toe-to-toe with the attorney general on this suit.
