Boston (DbTechNo) – With Black Friday right around the corner, major retail outlets are gearing up for some super discounting.
The day signifies the beginning of the Christmas shopping season, with millions of Americans rolling up their sleeves and preparing to fight dirty if that is what is necessary to snag the best deal.
Last year, a Wal-Mart employee was actually trampled to death by a herd of unruly shoppers, more interested in saving a buck or two on electronics and other Christmas items than the safety of those around them.
The smart consumer maybe tempted to log onto the internet during Black Friday, avoiding the possibility of being trampled to death.
Amazon.com will be participating in Black Friday, offering an array of discounts on electronic items including Blu-ray DVDs.
Personally, I will opt not to venture out on Black Friday and will spend my day relaxing on my couch, recovering from the Thanksgiving feed.
