Mobile Version of Bing Available in iTunes Store

The ongoing mobile browser war is heating up thanks to Microsoft who have just released a version of Bing
Boston (DbTechNo) – The ongoing mobile browser war is heating up thanks to Microsoft who have just released a version of Bing.

This will not sit well with rival Google, who have had a few little run-ins with Apple as of late.

Cellphone users can now download a version of Bing from the Apple store, that works on the iPhone and iPod touch.

The application is very similar to the web version, and offers voice search for both map locations, web search and even identifies where the user is located so that finding specific requested destinations is a breeze.

The mobile version of Bing even comes equipped with the image of the day, a staple of the web version.

The description of Bing on the iTunes store reads: “Make decisions and get where you need to go with Bing. See the Bing daily image and related trivia on the home screen. Search maps or the Web with your voice–even say an address. Use Image Search and flick through previews. Download Bing today to find stuff nearby and get there fast.”
