Kindle Most Popular Amazon Gift, Ever

Boston (DbTechNo) – The Amazon Kindle is the most popular gift item purchased from the online store this year.

The Kindle is a reading device that allows users to download books online from the Amazon store for a fee, and read them at their own leisure.

Users can download newspapers, magazines or choose from millions of titles from the store, and have access to them in meer seconds.

On Christmas Day, more people purchased Kindle books than physical books, another milestone for the company.

“We are grateful to our customers for making Kindle the most gifted item ever in our history,” said Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos.

Barnes & Noble are more than likely kicking themselves in the butt these days, thanks to them not being prepared for Christmas when it came to their own e-book reader called Nook.

Amazon have put their stamp on the e-book reading marketplace and show no sign of slowing down when it comes to evolving to meet the needs of their customers.
