AT&T Stop Offering iPhones to NYC Customers

It is being reported that AT&T has stopped selling iPhones in New York City
Boston (DbTechNo) – It is being reported that AT&T has stopped selling iPhones in New York City.

Right now, nobody is exactly sure why this is the case but there are a few possible reasons being tossed around.

Sales were terminated sometime on Sunday, but according to a spokesman for the company there is no problems.

“We periodically modify our promotions and distribution channels,” said Fletcher Cook, an AT&T spokesman.

People attempting to buy a device online who enter a NYC zip code receive the message: “We’re sorry, there are no Packages & Deals available at this time.”

Other zip codes from across the US however yield a host of iPhone choices, meaning that AT&T are pretty much full of it when it comes to their statement posted above.

A couple of possible reasons for AT&T to stop offering iPhones to NYC customers include: data congestion and credit card fraud, both of which appear to be believable.
