
Boston (DbTechNo) – After arriving at the International Space Station on Monday astronauts wasted no time getting to work.
Endeavour crew members took to space for the first of 3 walks to prepare the module for installation.
Robert Behnken and Nicholas Patrick prepared the final 18-ton addition to the center which was then attached using the shuttle’s robotic arm.
Today they bolted the last connecting module onto the ISS bringing to an end, 10 years of building.
The crew of the shuttle Endeavour have 2 more space walks planned before returning to earth.
NASA will partake in 4 more trips to the ISS before retiring their fleet of spaceships.
