Consumers wanting to get their hands on an Apple iPad will have to wait until April third to do so.

Apple unveiled the mini computer of the future back on January 27th, and since then have been producing them at an astounding rate to prepare to meet high demand.

Apple originally had intended to have the iPads in stores by the end of March but this will not be the case.

Many believe that Apple pushed back the launch date because their supplier, Hon Hai Precision is having trouble producing the devices at the rate Apple is requesting.

Depending on the size of memory you choose for your new iPad will depend on the price you pay.

Prices begin at $499, and can run up to $899 depending on the components you choose.
