Google Continue Pushing for No Censorship in China

Talks between Google and China continue however there are signs that the world's largest search engine could be preparing to leave the country
Boston (DbTechNo) – Talks between Google and China continue however there are signs that the world’s largest search engine could be preparing to leave the country.

The two have a lot of ground to cover if there is any hope of Google remaining in China, mainly dealing with censorship and hacking issues.

Earlier this year, the Google web site, as well as the sites of many other major US companies were hacked and authorities have traced the attackers to one of 2 Chinese schools.

China is denying having anything to do with the hack job, but nobody is buying their claims.

As far as the censorship issue goes, China is determined to only show what they wanna show regarding Google search results, a fact that does not sit well with Google.

Last week chief executive, Eric Schmidt stated that he hopes to announce some form of agreement between both sides within the coming weeks.
