Israel Bans Apple iPads Because Of Wireless Standards

The country of Israel has banned the import of the Apple iPad because of its wireless capability.

According to the government, the wireless standards of their country would be violated by the iPad, thus customs officials have been ordered to seize any that they come across.

So far more than 10 iPads have been seized by officials with more expected to be nabbed in the days and weeks to come.

Even tourists are not allowed to enter the country with their iPads, and those who try to will have their computers seized and held until they leave the country.

The iPad is the new mini computer released by Apple that is the hottest gadget on the planet right now.

Currently it is only sold in the US, and pre-orders are coming in fast and furious.

Apple is having a difficult time keeping up with consumer demand, and has had to push back launch dates for the device already.
