Catch A Glimpse Of The Perseid meteor shower

For all the space buffs out there you might want to sleep during the day so that you will have the energy to take in the Perseid meteor shower at night.

It is not often when the opportunity to witness an actuall meteor shower arises so when it does, people will do whatever it takes to catch a glimpse.

The Perseid meteor Shower is an annual occurance and with clear weather forecasted for the next few nights there will be few clouds to obstruct the view.

Perseids hurtle into our earth’s atmosphere at a tremendous rate of speed upwards of 37 miles each second which is more than 133,000 miles per hour at which time they burn up.

For North America, this afternoon is actually the peak for the shower which means that late tonight and early into tomorrow morning will be prime to time catch a glimpse of some natural fireworks in the sky.

For the best viewing pleasure, it is best to park yourself as far away from city lights as you can, and cross your fingers for a clear night.
