Wedding Bells Ring During Apple Convention

Chris Martin from Coldplay played a new song from the band called Wedding Bells while attending the Apple convention in San Francisco.

Martin performed the single at the end of a press conference for the company’s new products at the Yerba Buena Centre, where Steve jobs rolled out the new iPod line.

Introducing the song, Martin joked: “This is a new song called ‘Coldplay 2.6′ and it has a lot of new features, it features seven different kinds of chords and even a new one that our closest rivals have no idea about.”

This performance was a huge deal, as it was also screened live on television screens at The Brewery in east London.

Martin continues: “This could be the only time you ever hear it. It could go terribly wrong but we’ll see what happens.”

Martin also played Yellow, and the ban’s most recent smash Viva La Vida.
