Super Mario Turning 25 Years Old

It maybe hard to believe but next week Super Mario will turn 25 years old.

Throughout his life Mario has done a lot, ranging from rescuing princesses and bouncing on bad guys to fueling up on mushrooms.

Back in 1985 Super Mario was born on the NES, that is the regular nintendo for those not in the know.

As gaming systems have advanced, so has the little blockhead and he has been asked to perform many a tricky move over his life to date.

To celebrate the anniversary, Nintendo have developed a special logo and have applied for a trademark for it.

It is not known what they will use the logo for, but they will surely have some good reason for wanting to trademark it.
