Rumor: Skype Teaming Up With Facebook

It is being reported that Facebook and Skype are in talks to join forces.

Facebook is the largest social networking website on the internet, and Skype offers users the chance to call anybody in the world through their computer.

Under the proposed deal, Facebook users would be able to log in to their Skype accounts using their Facebook Connect accounts and then text, or voice and video chat.

With more than 500 million users, Facebook recently surpassed Google when it comes to the length of time that people stay on the site.

Skype was founded back in 2003 and is the leader when it comes to long distance video chat on the internet.
