Ronda Rousey Holly Holm Returning to the limelife following her shocking defeat, Ronda Rousey maintained her fighting spirit as she made her debut hosting NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Rousey’s stint marked her first TV appearance since she lost UFC 193 and the Women’s Bantamweight championship title to Holly Holm, 34, in November. During her monologue on SNL, Rousey gave kudos to her opponent…sort of, saying Holm “deserved to win” the fight. “And I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely congratulate her,” she added, drawing applause. “And all those who are worried I’m not ready to host the show because I like, have brain damage, relax. I’m good. Besides, everything I need is on cue cards.” The 28-year-old’s monologue then turned into a mock fight, with cast member Kenan Thompson, 37, playing her coach. Brendan Dassey transferred:  moved from prison to another Brendan Dassey, one of the men convicted in the brutal slaying that spawned the the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer, has been transferred out of a Green Bay, Wis.,-area prison. Dassey, serving a life sentence for his role in the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach, was transferred Wednesday to the Columbia Correctional Institution, a 500-inmate facility in Portage, according to TMZ. Brendan Dassey had been at the Green Bay Correctional institution, which houses more than 1,000 inmates, in Allouez. Both are maximum-security facilities. New Wonder Woman footage Released

Wonder Woman footage Warner Bros. has unveiled a new peak at their new Wonder Woman movie, showcasing Gal Gadot in action as the titular superhero. “We’re going to see her coming of age, the entire history, what’s her mission,” Gadot said of her character during Tuesday evening’s DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW, where the new footage aired.   Costar Chris Pine added, “Telling a story of this now is pivotal and important — the story of a very powerful woman.” The new film is  directed ny Patty Jenkins(Monster), who is helming the first major superhero movie led by a female character since Fox’s Elektra a decade ago. Gadot, an Israeli actress who once served in the IDF, said of the high-profile role last year, “I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for.” Gadot will make her on-screen debut as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, and both films will continue to build out the burgeoning cinematic universe based on DC Comics characters.
