A New Zealand aquarium has shared photos of a giant squid that washed up on a beach in Kaikoura on the South Island of New Zealand on Tuesday. The Kaikoura Marine Centre and Aquarium has put the sea creature in a freezer with glass windows that is on display for visitors. New images reveal a new island has been formed in the South Pacific after the eruption of an underwater volcano in Tonga. Photos have emerged of the island’s surface, 45km (28 miles) north-west of Tonga’s capital, Nuku’alofa. By this summer, liquor store shelves may be hit by Palcohol or powdered alcohol that has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. This novelty might be controversial and was once termed the “Kool-Aid of binge drinking” but would now be seen all over U.S. Palcohol got the green light from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau on Tuesday.
