Laughter Arises Within The Walls Of The House Of Commons
Energy Minister Charles Hendry failed to remember to glance behind himself prior to sitting down.
He inadvertently sat on Ed Davey, the Liberal Democrat MP in the House of Commons.
“This only shows our commitment to work seamlessly together in this coalition.” said Energy Minister Charles Hendry.
Energy Minister Tom Greatrex said, “Thank you very much Mr. Speaker, and I will endeavour not to accidentally sit on either of my frontbench colleagues.” when his turn to speak had arrived.
Everyone within the House of Commons during this event was struck with laughter.
Liberal Democrat MP Tessa Munt needed a bit of time to regain her composer before continuing to speak while she had the floor.
