Miami Cannibal had picked fight with Boxer in 2007
Miami, Florida – the late Rudy Eugene, now infamous as the “Miami Cannibal” for his savage behavior in eating the face off Ronald Poppo, apparently picked a fight with former heavyweight Melton Bowen.
Bowen recalled the incident which took place back in 2007 at the 7th Ave Flea Market. Bowen said that both he and Eugene were working opposite booths selling music.

The two began speaking talking up who had the better knowledge of music trivia when Eugene lost his temper, removed his shirt, and came towards the former boxer saying “I’m not scared of no one. I’m going to kill you!” It was at that time that the boxer proved what has been proven time and time again: a street fighter is no match for a trained boxer.
The heavyweight threw one punch at Eugene and knocked him flat out. Bowen is said to be shocked at Eugene’s’ crime.
