Coca-Cola Launching Flavor Drops

Flavor drops are becoming a popular trend among drink lovers willing to spruce up their water bottles. Now, Coca-Cola is catching on to the craze by bringing their drops to store shelves soon, reports CBS News.

The beverage company will be introducing its Dasani Drops in early October, providing four flavors- from strawberry kiwi to pineapple coconut, before presenting additional flavors. Coca-Cola is launching the product to get customers to consume more water on a regular basis. The product will be a convenient plug for its Dasani water, which the company hopes shoppers will use along with the drops.

Dasani Drops will be priced at $4, making this portable product accessible for people on-the-go who decides how much or how little flavor they want in their water bottles.

John Roddey — vice president of Coca-Cola’s water, tea and coffee business – thinks the new product has great potential.

“I think there’s an opportunity beyond just flavored waters.”
