Teen Caught Pouring Gas on sleeping mom
A Southern California teen is now is juvenile hall today and is under investigation for attempted murder after being caught pouring gasoline on his mother while she was sleeping, reports the SacBee.
This chilling incident happened on Sunday night in the family’s Tustin home. Orange County sheriff’s investigators say that the stepfather of the 16-year-old boy walked into the bedroom to find the boy pouring gasoline over his mother.
“He tried to burn us up,” victim Olivia Trujillo told ABC.
“He got really mad, so he tried to put gasoline,” Trujillo said.
Luckily, the boy was caught before he had the opportunity to ignite the gas. This incident occurred at around 10 o’clock pm. Deputies were called to the 14400 block of Livingston Avenue after the stepfather discovered what was happening.
Luckily, the woman was not hurt. It is believed that the mother and boy were arguing previously the same day.
The topic of the argument is undisclosed but could have lead up to this murder attempt. This case is still under investigation by the Orange County Sheriff.
