Casey Anthony cleared of two more charges

After being acquitted of the murder of her two year old daughter in 2011 Casey Anthony has taken a step closer to completely clearing her name by having two of her convictions tied to the case thrown out by the court of appeals. Anthony was convicted on four counts at her captial murder trial in 2011 and has managed to have two of the convictions for lying to police overturned.

Following the dissapearance of Caylee Anthony her mother was charged with lying to police, child neglect and obstruction of an investigation following interviews with Orange County Detective Yuri Melick.

The case of Caylee Anthony’s murder was reported worldwide follwoing the mysterious dissapearance and discovery of the two year old’s body close to the home of her grandparents in Orlando, Florida. Despite the insistance of the prosecution that Casey Anthony was to blame for the murder she was cleared of charges relating to her daughter’s death.

Anthony and her legal team have vowed to continue fighting to clear her name of the remaining two convictions.
