Less than 24 hours after a first date with a man she met over the Internet, a young, Russian woman scored a tattoo of her date’s name permanently inked onto the side of her face.
Lesya Toumaniantz, who acquired the last name of her newly announced fiance, Ruslan, met Ruslan on an online chat room and said she “fell madly in love.”
Soon after their first date, she agreed to let Ruslan tattoo his name in a bold, gothic font on the sides of her face leaving her unrecognizable.
“It’s a symbol of our eternal devotion. I’d like him to tattoo every inch of my body,” she said, according to Gawker.
Although Ruslan’s Facebook has no indication of any relationship, Lesya’s relationship status was changed to “engaged” on January 20th.
According to a friend of Lesya, the couple’s future plans consist of full body tattoos, Lesya becoming a tattoo artist, and children. Although most would consider such an extreme as bad luck, her friend wishes her all the best.
“Their plans for a life together include her learning to tattoo while she also gets the full-body ink that she’s always dreamed of,” an unnamed friend told the Huffington Post UK. “And of course a family.”
