Svetlana Pankratova (Russia) has the world’s longest legs, verified as measuring 132 cm (51.9 in) in Torremolinos, Spain on 8 July 2003.
The Guinness Book of World Records has officially recognized a woman in Virginia has having the longest female legs in the world. Svetlana Pankratova, who makes her home in Falls Church, received the honor by having legs which measure four feet and four inches long.
Pankratova, who is a high school basketball coach, is also very tall, standing 6 feet and 5 inches, but not tall enough to be recognized as the world’s tallest female.
That honor was claimed by a 7-foot, 7-inch tall woman in China who recently passed away. Northern Virginia is also home to another Guinness Book of World Records record holder.
Annie Hawkins-Turner, who lives near longest female legs record holder Pankratova in Arlington, has a place in Guinness’s record books for having the largest natural breasts in the world. Pankratova’s new honor may mean more spectators at the games when the George Mason High School basketball team she coaches competes.
