Tebow Gets Unique Coaching Offer
After receiving his expected pink slip from Rex Ryan and the New York Jets, Tim Tebow has been on the free agent market for less than two days but he is already drawing interest from a prospective employer.
No, the left-handed quarterbacking legend from the University of Florida did not get an offer from another NFL team, but has the option of going into coaching for a rival league of the NFL, The Legends Football League. You may be more familiar with the former name of the league, The Lingerie Football League.
The Legends Football League reached out to Tebow’s people to become the Quarterbacks coach for the entire league. This may very well be a publicity stunt to get the league some ink. It is possible, however, that the league is looking for a new face to represent their new image which will contain less sex appeal and more clothing for the female athletes.
Part of the letter reads:
Now that it appears that Mr. Tebow’s career in the National Football League may be coming to an end, we at Legends Football League, LLC, would like to extend him an offer to become our Quarterbacks Coach nationally
Tebow is a devout Christian and has always been outspoken with his religion.
If football experts are correct, the phones won’t be ringing off of the hook with offers from NFL teams and The Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League own his signing rights and they are already set at quarterback.
It’s hard to imagine, but this may be the only offer that comes Tebow’s way.
