The sexual preferences of Europeans continues to emerge. Last week, a study of British women found them overwhelmingly attracted to men with facial stubble.
Now, the German cable TV network known as “Kabel-1” has conducted a survey of their own on the show “Adventure Life”. The survey found that 17% of respondents prefer to have sex in the bathroom.
That is slightly more than one in five Germans, if the sampling is indicative of the population as a whole. However, nearly four in five Germans prefer the bedroom, as probably most people. Nearly one in ten respondents said they prefer their physical congress to occur in a car.
In terms of quantity, Germans have sexual intercourse 6.4 times a month which his much better than once a week. The survey showed that Germans have intercourse on any given day of the week, but Saturday was preferred by 18% of respondents.
37% or better than one in three Germans admitted to having an adulterous relationship at least once in their lives. 20% of Germans, or one in five, also enjoy intimacy in within the confines of a hot & steamy shower.
Daily Mail blogger Tracey Cox says: ‘Bathrooms offer privacy and having a bath or shower together can be super sexy. But it also works well if your partner has hygiene problems. I often suggest people have a bath or shower with their partner before sex if they’re worried about body odour.
‘People who are squeamish about sex often like doing it in places like the shower because it feels ‘clean’.
‘Sadly, the most common place and time for most long-term couples in Britain is to have sex at 10.24pm on Saturday nights … in the bedroom! Though it’s not all bad: the kitchen bench is also a favourite.’
