The entertainment industry now has Blue Ivy and Denim – Even Fifi Trixibelle. One name that seems to appear often on the list of “strange celebrity baby names” is the daughter of pop star P!nk and motocross sensation Carey Hart, Willow Sage.
While the names Willow and Sage were once commonplace in the English speaking world, these two lovely names have slowly faded away, becoming a distant memory of the past. Perhaps it is the combination of the two names together that draw so much attention.
When P!nk, who’s birth name was Alecia Beth Moore, was recently interviewed, the “Just Give Me A Reason” singer took the time to explain the choice of her daughter’s name.
“I love the idea that a willow tree cannot be snapped or broken,” she told Glamour. “And we burn sage all the time. It clears bad energy.”
