There are many strange and unexplained things in the world. There have been for centuries, such as themysterious 260-foot crater, with a depth that is unknown, recently discovered in remote Siberia.
From The Siberian Times:
“The giant hole appeared close to a forest some 30 kilometers from Yamal’s biggest gas field Bovanenkovo. Experts are confident that a scientific explanation will be found for it and that it is not — as one Web claim suggested — evidence ‘of the arrival of a UFO craft’ to the planet.”
Mysterious happenings such as this recent mystery calls geologists from Russia and around the world to investigate the area and come to logical conclusions of why this happened, other than “Mole Man” as some have suggested or an otherwise larger than life itself gigantic “worm” such as seen in the movies “Tremor”, or the entry to “Hell”.
Other considerations are a UFO, melting ice formations under the earth, blaming global warming and an underground explosion brought on by a combination of salt, water and gas developed from global warming.
It is a sure bet that geologists will come to an amazing answer. Maybe someone will want to descend into that crater to see what is down there. Many people no doubt hope that explorations will lower a camera into the hole.
With evidence of material debris around the crater, researchers feel that the debris was thrown free of the crater from inside to out. It is a sure bet that most will wait with abated breath, results of impending soil, air and water samples taken by the explorer researchers.

Researchers suggest that this crater developed about two years ago and just recently found by those flying over the region in a helicopter.
According to a report from Reuters, the person who shot the video footage as saying the hole appeared to have been caused from below and that the darker soil around its top indicated the effect of high temperatures.
Mysterious happenings in the world bring from the public, opinions that run wild with imagination. Other opinions are sensible and considered as possible options to solving the mystery. Maybe, after extensive research by the appropriate scientists will bring with it only assumptions of what could have caused such a bottomless pit, never reaching any concrete conclusions. No, create answers leaves with the public an outcry of the ridiculous.
