Fans of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga will soon learn what life is really like with the superstar singer. It’s one thing to adore her on stage performances and eclectic fashion statements, but quite another to be at her beckon call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Jennifer O’Neill, Her personal assistant (PA) from 2009 to 2011, has secured a book deal worth $1 million to describe what it was like to work for the entertainer.
O’Neill has already drawn the ire of Gaga when she sued her for $393,000 in unpaid overtime for what she claimed was 7,168 unpaid man hours. At the time, Gaga referred to her as a “hood rat”, a derogatory term referring to someone who wants to live off of the public dole or any other means short of her own employment. Gaga ended up settling the matter out of court. Now, Atria Book will be publishing the book entitled “Fame Monster”. It promises to reveal a side of Lady Gaga that most people will find distasteful. Gaga was said to require her PA to sleep in her bed so that she would not be alone. At times, she would awaken her PA to change out the DVD and justified her behavior owing to the fact she was a bona fide diva.
