Karo, now living in Los Angeles attempting to launch her singing career, claims new mum Mila had been ‘envious’ of her pet hen ‘Doggie’.
New mom Mila Kunis is being sued for allegedly stealing a chicken from a childhood friend, reports TMZ.
Kristina Karo who claims she grew up with Kunis in the Ukraine, alleges that when they were around five they would play with her beloved chicken named Doggie.
According to TMZ:
Kristina Karo claims 25 years ago she was in first grade with Mila in the Ukraine and they were inseparable. But Kristina says Mila had chicken envy — specifically a chicken which answered to the name Doggie. Kristina alleges in her lawsuit she loved Doggie like a dog, and so did Mila, who would come to her house and play with the little clucker.
But one day Doggie disappeared, and Kristina says Mila confessed that she stole it, saying, “Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm.”
Karo says the loss affected her greatly, even sending her to therapy.
Kunis eventually moved to Los Angeles to become a star, and while Karo attempted the same, she said Kunis’ actions have prevented her from similar success.
Karo is reportedly suing Kunis for $5,000 for emotional distress and therapy costs.
