    seems that there was a giant sea creature found somewhere around the UK, now this!!!, just maybe an earthquake opened up a cave and these things got their freedom where they may have been trapped for the last 100 years. The tsunami in Japan a couple of years ago had the ability.

      nope, giant squid have ammonia in their blood for living deep in ocean. Makes them unsuitable for eating.

    This isn’t the first time a giant squid has found itself upon New Zealand shores. In 2013, a similarly large squid was found dead after being attacked by a larger one
