. I feel awful for the owner and the dog. The corporation that killed the dog (by their own admission, just want to make sure that’s perfectly clear), not so much.

We know from Petco’s report: the groomer who put the dog in the dryer left for a graduation and the person left in charge didn’t remove the dog or turn off the dryer. Negligence, prima facie (a fact presumed to be true unless it is disproved). The dog overheated and died, which is not supposed to happen when you take your dog for grooming.

Let me see if I understand this. They left the dog in the dryer alone? I never heard of a dryer for a dog, I would think that they would stay and dry the dog with a handheld dryer. You put an animal in a dryer and walk away? He must have been terrified…I can’t even imagine. Hope no one ever sends their dog there. My sympathy to that poor woman. I can’t imagine.

Aeara it is a big blower that attaches to a dog kennel in most cases. Most groomers use them but they are not left completely unattended.

How come these vans are not on the timer with all the technology these days you would think there would be with no more than 15 minutes max That would prevent these kinds of things.
